Camel Bound

Camel Bound
Here is another collaborative sketch made on the iPad using the fun and powerful Sketchshare app. This one came together pretty quickly. We both really liked the open white areas of the image, the simplicity and the understated oddness of the imagery. That makes 35 collaborative black and white images made in this particular app. We are aiming for 154 of them as part of an installation in the 154 exhibit in June.

Sketchshare Banner Art

Since it's appearance in the AppStore a little over 2 weeks ago, SketchShare the "real time" collaboration app for the iPad has become a regular part of our day. We were excited to learn that it was awarded "app of the week" on the UK App Store and the banner advertising the new included one of the Woven Narrative works.Good work chaps!!
Here is the full work created using SketchShare (it was our very first)

Tombs Of Many

Godzilla In Barnsley

Here is a work in progress. I guess its a sort of 3-way collaboration, as it started life as a photograph taken by Yvonne Roberts of the 154 Collective as part of the 154 exhibition project. I did some initial work from the image, drawing using a Cosmonaut Stylus on the iPad using the Sketchtime app. Late last night (UK time) I mailed it over to Jonathan, thinking the image was dead in the water! Whilst I was sleeping Jonathan had been hard at work adding to the image, and giving Barnsley the 'village' treatment. On opening my email this morning the revamped sketch was there. I sketched some more, tweaked in some texture and there you have it.......

The real-time collaborations continue

Below are a selection of some of the latest SketchShare drawings. Visit our flickr feed to view more.

Another "real-time" collaborative drawing using SketchShare for 154 Collective. I love the characters making an appearance here.
